Born on January 10, 1974, Hrithik Roshan is an Indian actor who has several awards and accolades under his belt. Son of actor and film director Rakesh Roshan, he made his film debut as a child artist with the movie ‘Aasha’ in 1980. He made his acting debut in the lead role with the movie ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ (2000), which was directed by his father. As of 2021, Roshan has appeared in more than 20 Bollywood movies. Some of his critically-lauded and commercially successful movies include ‘Mission Kashmir’ (2000), ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ (2001), ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge!’ (2002), ‘Koi…Mil Gaya’ (2003), ‘Krrish’ (2006), ‘Dhoom 2’ (2006), ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ (2008), ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ (2011), ‘Agneepath’ (2012), ‘Krrish 3’ (2013), ‘Bang Bang!’ (2014), ‘Super 30’ (2019), and ‘War’ (2019). He married interior designer Sussane Khan in 2000. The couple got divorced in 2014. The duo has two children. In 2016, he filed a lawsuit against actor Kangana Ranaut alleging cyberstalking and harassment. Ranaut filed a counter-charge against him claiming that Roshan filed the lawsuit in order to cover up the affair. Due to lack of evidence, the Mumbai Police closed the case later that year. He is the recipient of six Filmfare Awards.
